[Feature Suggestion] Get "Scan File" results via command line

Would it be possible to create a command line option which would return the setup type to the console? I'm thinking it would be helpful to scan installers for their type, then invoke the installers with the appropriate switches for silent install.

It would definitely be possible, but it would require a separate executable for command line usage. Programs with a graphical user interface cannot (easily) write to the console. Better command line usage in general is something I would really like to happen, but it requires some bigger changes to the code, so it's still up in the air.
