Extractor ignores output directory, then claims there isn't enough free space

I have had it once not happen, and once it did happen. I'm trying to extract something from a mounted disc image. Obviously one cannot write onto the mounted disc image. So I do the open dialog and specify an output directory on a drive that has enough space. Only, it simply ignores the directory and then claims the mounted disc image drive letter doesn't have enough space.

What could be causing this?

Persistent error, Extractor claims there isn't enough free space on drive, this error occurs for every drive I've tried Pic & Log

I have attempted re-installation and updates to 2.0.0 RC 3
