Make funders and communities more prominent on web page

Open AlasdairGray opened this issue 6 years ago • 5 comments

We should provide more prominent acknowledgement of our funding on the Bioschemas home page, and also consider whether we can promote the wider communities that we are connected with.

Options:

  1. Rotating logos on the right hand side, probably between events and latest presentation
  2. Add ELIXIR and EC logo to footer
  3. Add section at end of home page content that points to funders page and includes rotating carousel of communities

I would favour options 2 & 3 together

From Carole

ISA tools has a carousel of “the isa commons”. We could have sponsored by elixir and supported by institutions.

Communities, Endorsements, and Funders have a section on the Bioschemas website home/landing page. In your opinion, is this prominent enough to address this issue? @CaroleGoble @kcmcleod @sarala @rajido @ricardoaat @nsjuty @ljgarcia @justinccdev

we need more endorsements and adoption stories

Hi Ginger,

It would be good to have adoption stories. And, maybe a section of papers citing Bioschemas?

Kind regards,
