[Feature Request]: Ability to use an URL parameter to expand all sections on the new search page

Is your feature/tool request related to a problem? Please describe.

When going to the new search page, the search sections are all collapsed. It requires extra clicks to open them, and I could also see this interface being confusing to navigate for some folks, since one has to figure out which section the fields of search interest are in.

Additionally, while there is a handy Expand all Sections button, it took me some time before I noticed it. Perhaps the text of that button could be bigger?

Would it be possible to add a URL parameter to have the sections expanded by default? Something like expand=true, or perhaps a per-section parameter like expand=1,2,4,5. That would allow portals some control over the default setup of the search page.

Additionally, would it be possible to make the expand/collapse section button more obvious?

When and how would this feature be used? What are some use cases?

This would allow bookmarking of links that have the search sections expanded, and could also allow portals to edit the menu to customize the search page to an extent.
