ERROR: RING path cannot be determined automatically, please set it manually in configuration tab. How to solve?

Hello, I guess you want to use RING-pymol with a local instance of RING, right? If so you should open the configuration tab and set the path to the RING executable, in my case is something like /home/damiano/ring/bin/ring.

I am using Windows system and cannot find the path to the executable file of ring.

I can't find the executable file for ring either in windows or linux

Have you installed the RING command line software (downloadable here) before using the RING-pymol plugin? If so you should know the path where you installed it.

The RING software runs only on Linux-like systems. If you want to use the RING-plugin without installing the command line executable, the plugin should automatically use a web API without the need of installing the RING executable. Please check you are using the latest version of the RING-plugin, you can delete it and download it again.
