Typing a grave accent on MacOS while Chatbox is open doesn't work and brings Chatbox into focus instead

Bug Description When Chatbox is running and I type (in any application) "option + back tick" on my US English keyboard to create a grave accent on the next character (e.g. "è" by "option + back tick" and then "e"), it doesn't type the intended character and instead shifts focus to Chatbox.

Steps to Reproduce Please provide the steps to reproduce the bug:

1. Open chatbox
2. Open any other app and start typing in a text box
3. Type option + back tick
4. Observe the bug.

Expected Results An underscored back tick character emerges at the text cursor, waiting for you to type a vowel to create a grave accent

Actual Results Chatbox opens
