Audiobook artwork fit issue

Using Smart AudioBook Player, the artwork used to be zoomed to fit the ID6 artwork square or the square was made to fit the artwork. Not sure. Now it appears to be made to fit the frame resulting in black borders inside the frame.

Hmmm the only change I could think of is to preserve aspect ratio back in 2019. I'm curious about what changed, perhaps Smart Audiobook Player changed something. What behavior would you prefer to see?

Personally, I like the zoom to fit. I think the current way would be fine too if the white border weren't there.
