close the entire desktop in Ubuntu 14.04

I used 1.5 and 2.1 newest, now. When I set tickeys starting at logging automatically. It hidden gui and one of two terminals, left one terminal with "tickeys -- gui .... tickeys -- command ..." like these. Unfortunately, it closed the desktop every time. All icons were disappeared, and I can't call the unity with windows key.

It seems like a bug.May I ask how you install and open it?It may help to fix the bug.😇

1.5 version was installed by "sudo easy_install tickeys". 2.1 version was upgraded by "sudo pip install --upgrade tickeys"

I just open it using "sudo tickeys". Touch "startup"-like button in tickeys gui. That's all.
