  • I've selected two files and tried custom rename and tried renaming the files based on title and as soon as I click Rename, the application crashes if there's a file that already has a file-name which one the new files is also trying to change to (i.e. I'm trying to rename a file to Hey Jude.mp3 and there's already a file named so the app crashes. (sometimes it crashes even though there were no such conflicts and it had already renamed the files successfully)
  • I selected many files and (even 2) and try deleting a tag comment in my case and app crashes.
  • Delete tags doesn't work for comments at least - even for a single file.

  • Are you using the latest version which is 1.8 (https://github.com/Bilalh/Tagger/releases)
  • Does it come up with any error log when it crashes (see #40 to see what an error log look like)?
  • What version of OS X are you using?
  • Are the audio files mp3 or m4a ( i.e, acc, the format of the iTunes store) or both ?
  • Could send any of the files in the folder which causes an crash?
  • How many files are in directory with the audio files?

  • Build: Version 1.8.0.7 (566)
  • Yes, it does if you mean the default Apple crash report and it's here (select all MP3 files, choose delete tags - comment - app crashes)
  • 10.9.4 (attached crash report)
  • All MP3
  • I am not sure what do you mean by send? Do I send it to your email? (I think I possibly can't post them here --> it usually happens when I select too many files --> 103 in this case; but it crashed once I had selected only 2 file - sometimes I just selected 15-20 just to check and it happened; As said earlier, doesn't delete the desired tag - comment - anyway; Sometimes it doesn't crash but doesn't delete the tag either)
  • 103 files

PS. I think I just figured out something - one of the files is named like this: Guava Jelly/This Train/Cornerstone/Comma Comma/Dewdrops/Stir It up/L'M (with slashes) and when this file is selected in those 103 files the app definitely crashes. But when 102 files, except this file is selected, app doesn't crash but it doesn't delete the comment tags of the file either. So, that's there.

I selected just this file (named above) and tried to delete its comment (there's no comment) tag and once it crashed, once it didn't. Same behaviour even after I added a comment tag to this MP3 file.

Okay, another trend I just figured. Any file I select - one or more - named in any way, w/ or w/o a comment tag, and try deleting the comment tag and nothing happens and after waiting for a few seconds I try it again - crash! (I may be wrong, please check :P)
