Add custom frame support (TXXX) and publisher

It would be great to have custom frame support. In ID3 tags they are used to store information, which does not fit in any other field. In electronic music many people use it to store the label's catalog number.

In electronic music the label and catalog number are as important as the artist. Adding this feature would allow a much wider audience to use this tool.

I will add this. Is there any music player that can show custom frames? I personally just put the catalog number in the comments so that It searchable in music players such as iTunes

Nice! I just tested a lot of taggers and some of them support custom tags like kid3 or Yate. I thought about putting the cat# in the comments field, too, but I need it for other informations sometimes. Do you store the label somewhere, too or just the cat#?

I store lots of information in comments basely because it allows them to be searchable while putting it in TXXX and WXXX (for urls) means that I can't see the data in the music players

e.g catalog: SQEX-10333~4 publisher: Square Enix category: Game, Original Soundtrack, Vocal products: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy url: http://vgmdb.net/album/33726 arranger: Revo ... performer: Revo ...

There is a url tag, but each player seem to use a different choice of tag, so I put it in the comments.

Okay interesting! There are music players / organizers which support custom frames, too, but I have not found one for Mac yet.

Maybe I adapt your system...
