feature request: split note up

When I wrote a note with many headers, I want to split it up into multiple notes (with a shared tag, color). This often occurs when gaining deeper understanding of a topic/task, in order to keep subtopics manageable with an increasing size of the note.

The way to do it currently is to select and cut each header AND text separately, which is really cumbersome.

Hi @noerw, Thanks for this feedback. I m thinking what would be a easy way to do this... It is a very specific use case, but I'll see what I can do.

Btw, another thing you can do is "duplicate" the note and delete stuff. It's still bad, but I would think a little easier :)
