Training it from scratch

Has anyone tried to train SqueezeDet from scratch? If yes how long does it take to converge? I have some multimodal features I am using hence cannot use the ImageNet pretrained weights. But my model doesn't seem to converge. Any ideas/ tips/tricks is highly appreciated thanks.

How did you notice the model non-convergence? Did you check mAP?
