Thumbnails are rotated in accordance with exif orientation, but larger scale images are not. Sort by exif date does not work Display exif information does not work

If I could add my bit here:

Pan view options are in unnatural place, there should be either a tab in preferences or separate preferences dialog accessed by a button somewhere. Currently they are in right-click context menu, which is not obvious (at least it was for me).
"Show image" values should contain also possibility to select absolute sizes or sizes relative to screen size to have a consistent preview in case of photos of different sizes. Also custom values would be nice: for typical photos in my case 10% is too small, and 25% is too big.
"Zoom in" just zooms pre-rendered view, resulting in pixelisation.
