Read-only file rename, list view, in-place renaming

Setup :

  • Distribution: Ubuntu
  • Distribution release: 25.04
  • Geeqie version latest

Describe the bug

  • If in-place renaming is selected in Preferences
  • and list view is selected
  • and rename is selected via a right-click menu
  • for a read-only file
  • the operation is executed with no warning.

In other situations, the user is given a "file is read-only" warning.
