Slideshow behaviour, button
ISSUE TYPE
- Bug Report
- Feature Request
GEEQIE VERSION
Geeqie 2.1 GTK3
OS / DISTRIBUTION
Xubuntu 23.04
SUMMARY
Bug: In the menu, "toggle slideshow" is already toggled. Click to untoggle - does nothing. Click again to re-toggle - starts slideshow. Using keyboard, move to a new folder and type S twice. IMO one should only have to do this once, and toggle status should reflect slideshow status. Bug: no option to add "Toggle Slideshow" as an icon to the toolbar - doesn't appear in the list. Feature request: (Also) have a slideshow play/pause button (as well as play, and pause)
Feature request: (Also) have a slideshow play/pause button (as well as play, and pause)
Pause is a toggle action, although the icon does not change to indicate its state.
Bug: no option to add "Toggle Slideshow" as an icon to the toolbar - doesn't appear in the list.
This is implemented in the latest sources. I think you can include that item by closing Geeqie and editing
$HOME/.config/geeqie/geeqierc.xml
to include
<toolbar>
.....
<toolitem action = "SlideShow" />
</toolbar>
Thanks Colin, that config tweak worked a treat. Along the same lines, is there an entry for "Find Duplicates Recursive"?
I'll open a new bug about the Find Duplicates button, as it doesn't seem to work.
Cheers, as always!
is there an entry for "Find Duplicates Recursive"?
Open Edit/Preferences/Keyboard . Go to the far right column headed Accel.
Take the final component of the entry.
If placed on the toolbar, some entries will be meaningless in some circumstances.
Thanks for this. Sadly it doesn't seem to be an entry. Possibly it's a call to Find Dupes with a switch (e.g. --recursive)?
Sorry. My mistake. I was so sure that item existed I did not check.....
