Is there a tool for the usb type readers which has like dev/sda locations

New laptops generally doesn't give ports for the card readers or card. And I was thinking if any such tool may be able to do such magic with the usb type card readers

Which gives the location of the disk like dev/sd(a/b/X/1/2/3)

I would be very thankfull😭
