Your Connection is not private - asks for a username and password

After configuring config.php and accessing http(s)://your.server.tld/path/to/www/ , An popup arrives stating " Your Connection to this site is not private" and asks for an username and password .

Is there any credential details ?

How to resolve this issue.

I don't know what this is. Can you share a screenshot?

Also, even if these kind of self-hosted projects are very interesting to my eyes, I don't have time to invest in this project. Also, it uses plain PHP like it's 1998 again, it should be rewritten using a modern framework (like Symfony) and presented with a decent frontend (like bootstrap).
