How many files are being created?

Creating 100,000 files very quickly on my end locks up ST for a little bit, but memory usage goes up barely 100MB and the process goes back to idle afterwards....

Does it happen in [safe mode](https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/safe_mode.html)?

4154 is a dev build, available for licensed users here: sublimetext.com/dev. I also can't reproduce this for build 4152.

Sorry for misunderstanding, I'm able to reproduce this bug.

I can't reproduce with the steps provided under Wayland/GNOME.
