no sound when switching to input device (in monitoring mode) without sound settings panel open

Describe the bug on devices with multiple inputs (in my case a XONAR HDAV1.3 deluxe), soundswitch used to be able to allow the switching of input devices while the sound settings window was minimised, but recently lost this ability.

Version SoundSwitch v5.7.0 (but has been happening probably since 5.6, i can't say for sure)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. add more than one input device, one of which has 'monitoring'
  2. hit ctrl+f1 to change it to the monitoring device when the sound settings window is not open or minimised. the soundswitch notifier should say the device has been changed, but you will not hear sound from the device in monitoring mode.
  3. open the sound settings, and then the sound from the device in monitoring mode (if this is the one you've switched to) will now work.

Expected behavior i just would like to be able to hit ctrl+f1 without the sound settings open, and have sound switch be able to change the device along with retaining the property of monitoring mode. it seems this state is not saved and only restored when the sound settings panel is opened.

Screenshots If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Additional context it's possible this bug is not even a bug but just not saving the 'monitoring mode' flag for an input device. in my case it's an SPDIF input that i'm getting from an external device, and i'm routing it to my main output device (5.1 connect through analog outputs).
