Navigation controller - How to push the view controller

In the linphone code, is there any way to push the view from navigation controller , I am able to present the view controller but not able to get the navigation controller object in any view class , so [self.navigationController pushViewController] is not working . Let me know if there is any way to achieve this . Thanks
