AppImage file and PulseAudio not working

I'm trying to use the latest Linphone appimage (4.3.2) for Linux but it doesn't display PulseAudio as an option in the Audio tab of settings. So Linphone's audio won't work (but the microphone does work okay). It says: ALSA Unknown: HDA Intel PCH for the Capture Device and the entry is blank for both the Playback and Ringer devices.

How can I fix this?

I have PulseAudio installed and it works fine with for my existing older Linphone 3.12 (installed via Software Manager in Linux Mint).

Also, the toggle for "Check For Updates" in the Preferences won't let me toggle it off... It just isn't clickable. I want to turn that off, please.
