Write a GDAL Python Driver for DWCA

GDAL 3 now offers the possibility to add Python drivers: https://gdal.org/tutorials/vector_python_driver.html It would be really cool to see a GDAL Python driver for the python-dwca-reader. That would make these data sources immediately available in all GIS (QGIS, GRASS, SAGA, as well as R) building upon GDAL...

That's interesting indeed, I was not aware of this possibility.

It's almost a different projects (that uses this one behind the scenes) than a new feature, though.

I'd be interested in (working on) this, but not sure of when/if I'll find free time for that. If anyone else is interested to implement that, go ahead!
