[2] Heretic Balancing

Heretic balancing needs to be largely reconsidered.

Heretics need to have much more useful items that are useful to new players. Heretics should be powerful at locking a target in and killing them and should have items such as slowdowns which make it hard for the victim to escape.

Certain heretic items need heavy nerfs, such as ash jaunt which is just far too strong and frustrating to deal with. I would prefer if this gave you a set amount of time where you can phase through airlocks, but only airlocks and not walls directly.

I want it so that with a little bit of preperation, a newer player (20-100 hours) could have a strong chance at surviving a defensive encounter with security. Some items that I am thinking of are powerful traps, perhaps ones that can be set to only trigger if the target is a living heart target. X-ray amulets that allow you to see thorugh walls, helping you stay hidden and items on the void path which can suppress your sound.
