Additional context

The CPU gets very hot under Balanced and Performance power profiles under Linux, and I have experienced forced reboots under these profiles. Only Powersave profile keeps the CPU cool. From Mcontrolcenter I can turn the fan to max by a cooler boost. Otherwise Mcontrolcenter reports 0 RPM for the fan. Update: When I run a heavy task on the integrated GPU (Qwen3-14B model, Kubuntu 25.04, Intel drivers), I can hear the fan, and Mcontrolcenter reports about 3000 rpm to 4000 rpm for the fan. Powersave profile still active in Plasma system tray.

My Linux installations also fails to detect the integrated web camera. (It works under Windows.)

The laptop model's support page links to "MSI Center S" by which I can't find any settings to control the fan directly. But there is settings for "Performance", "Balanced" and "ECO-Silent".

By changing mode in MSI Center S, I can observe these values change in RW Read & Write Utility: "ECO-Silent": 0xD2 = C2, 0xD3=80, 0xD4=1D "Balanced": 0xD2 = C1, 0xD3=83, 0xD4=0D "Performance": 0xD2 = C4, 0xD3=83, 0xD4=0D
