Microphone will go Silence when You Leave TeamTalk

Description

It still showing that you are talking to other people but they cannot here your voice when you leave TeamTalk. This include when you lock the screen. Let's say if I turn on microphone and I go to the home screen, it still will showing up to other people that I'm talking but they cannot hear my voice. What should I do is iether 2. Number 1, go back to TeamTalk and number 2, turn off and turn back on the microphone from where you are iether using the button on your earphone or use TalkBack gesture.

Expected behavior

Microphone should not go silence when you leave TeamTalk.

Actual behavior

Microphone will silenced when you leave TeamTalk

Steps to reproduce problem

Running TeamTalk 5.14 build 122 with Android 14 beta 3 (UPB3.230519.008). It not happend on Android 13.

It fixed in TeamTalk 5.14 build 123.

I just notice that the microphone will mute automaticly sometime when I talking with screen turned off. It not always happend, but yeah, when happend, I need to press the button on my earphone or turn on the screen then use TalkBack gesture to turn off the microphone and turn it back on.

After using the latest TeamTalk on Android 14, the issue stated in the title still exists.

cannot confirm the issue on samsung galaxy s21 running android 13

This happened on Android 14 Beta 3. Not really sure if it still happened on Android 14 Beta 4. I’m using Google Pixel 7 Pro. Will update later after testing. Currently using TeamTalk 5.14 Build 123.

If during a conference connection is lost and regained, the microphone will look like its transmitting but it's actually not. I'm not sure if that is the issue OP refers to but that is what I am seeing on pixel 6a, android 13 beta 3 and latest TeamTalk from play store.
