Strange behavior on Oculus runtime when not wearing headset
Known issue in Godot, just mentioning it here as well if people get stuck.
There is a difference in the way Oculus runtime behaves when you're not (yet) wearing your HMD causing the preview to flash or not update properly. This problem should go away as soon as you put your headset on.
We're working on a fix but know this is a known problem.
