Loading window is black and won't disappear in sway

I am using sway which is a tiling wayland WM. Lector works fine but when loading a book, the loading bar screen doesn't disappear and is solid black as you can see in the screenshot.

The icons also don't show up but that seems to be an issue for me in X as well so not sure if that is wayland specific.

Any ideas? I can work around it fine for now but wanted to log a report.

Saw this wayland qt plugin, but when trying to run lector with QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland lector I get an error about the plugin being missing, not sure if that would help wayland compatibility.

I'm not sure this is my bug. The only progress bar in the whole program is in the statusbar. While that does get triggered when opening a book, it should be at the bottom of the screen.

The icons are embedded in a file, so they should show up. That's likely a config issue at your end.
