With the LOG option, logging of server operations and HTTP requests can be turned on/off.

The option should be replaced by a more fine granular solution, which allows you to turn specific log entries on/off:

  • successful vs. erroneous requests
  • database server operations vs. HTTP requests vs. custom logs (admin:write-log)

Related: #940

With a32a63a6ef7a32e6287c1a38787daeb0ba0d7512, stdout can be experimentally assigned to LOG to additionally redirect log to standard output.

Apart from stdout, stderr and slf4j can now be specified a log target: https://docs.basex.org/12/Options#log

Feedback is welcome.

The issue will be closed: With LOGEXCLUDE and LOGCUT, log entries can now be excluded or shortened.
