Can HX be made to work on SB1.x, including the one provided by NTVDM and NTVDMx64?

NTVDMx64 mentions SB2.0, but actually, NTVDM probably emulates a SB1.5 with DSP2.0 (the MPC minimum standard/Win3.0MME).

From what I see current minimum required is SB16: 1, https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/issues/4217

Related is audio output on LPT/Covox and PC speaker, together with pre-VGA video output.
