Testers Wanted
Some new fixes are coming soon, such as a new physics for virus throw and pop-split. So, there is need for someone who can test it and report about issues. If you want to participate, please let me know
I'd like to participate, please.
Same here. Let us know what we can do.
in vanilla agario you need about 400 mass to eat viruses but in MultiOgar you need 300 mass to eat viruses when have 300 mass you split for a virus you go into 15 pieces
I will commit a new code soon, it has a new behavior to blow the player cell on the virus. There is need to play with it and check how it works with different cell mass. It needs to be compared to vanilla behavior and catch any difference or issues.
@Barbosik I want to participate tester.
So, let's go :) New code for virus split committed, check it please. Waiting for your feedback
@Barbosik Desktop 2016.06.28 - 15.47.55.10.zip I think it's so good. That Video show popsplit motion, also it show when reach the virus!
So, pop-split works ok? :)
@Barbosik It works perfect. :)
It's amazing. Just the little cells should be around 24 when bigger than 400, and 24 when bigger than 1000
Tested, works great! Thanks @Barbosik
NatsuTheGreat: nice finding, need to check it
Okay, thanks.
The amount of cells change the virus explosions. By the way,
such as a new physics for virus throw
When's that coming? I have the angling that agar.io has, but not the flying physics (as in overlapping)
NatsuTheGreat: >>I have the angling that agar.io has, but not the flying physics (as in overlapping)
Can you show the example please, what did you mean?
Well, remember the video someone showed? In the virus throw, viruses always go right. I think what I have makes it very accurate to agar.io. Even though you may think it's a bug, I like it. I want to get close to agar.io.
Here's the code:
var angle = (prey.boostDistance == 0) ? Math.PI / 2 : prey.getAngle();
Are you sure that vanilla server throws virus always to the right? even if ejected mass in the heap was ejected from right to the left?
I remember that video and can reproduce exactly the same behavior in MultiOgar. To reproduce it, you just needed to eject mass for heap from left to the right.
This video doesn't show in which direction was ejected mass for heap. So, I think this mass was ejected from left to the right. MultiOgar will works exactly the same.
But if the cells from heap was ejected from right to the left, then there is a difference. But the video doesn't show in which direction it was ejected. It just shows heap of ejected mass. So, it cannot help to understand if there is difference with MultiOgar.
But if you look at this video more attentively, you can notice that virus flying a little down. It's impossible with Math.PI / 2.
But it's possible if agar.io servers works exactly the same as current MultiOgar behavior ;) It just means that ejected cells in the heap on this video was ejected to the right direction. And current MultiOgar mechanic works exactly the same in such case.

https://youtu.be/rh8wiVcFDQk?t=418 And then it worked because he did it left to right, instead of right to left. You can see the viruses arranged in a nice straight line to the right.
if it always split to the right direction on vanilla server, it's really vanilla bug :) Ok, I will add configuration value to select behavior. Because if it will always split to the right it's not fair for the player who on the right side of virus :)
HUH? Please do not add this weird buggy behavior. We don't need to copy every stupid bug by miniclip.
we wanttt minionssssssss plsss
@ItzLevvie which one ? i tried agrio infinity but it dosen't work!!!
if you can help with VPS servers for MultiOgar cloud, I can make dedicated server for playing with minions. Otherwise there is no sense.
@Barbosik, I can help you with that. Do you have an email address so I can contact you?
