How i can use skins ?
I have client for ogar unlimited , and skins
That's a problem with Ogar Unlimited. Other wise <SkinNameHere>
You can use name such as <kraken>Jumbo
. But with this way you cannot use long names and skins with long names.
So, if your client supports chat, then you can change skin with chat command, just type in the chat:
/skin %kraken
With chat command you can set any skin. But you need to execute it from spectate mode. Because server doesn't allows change skin while you already joined to the game, because it may leads to skin bugs or server lags.
If you changed skin, but it still not works in your client. It means that your client doesn't support standard skins. For example it may use some hand-made protocol modifications which is supported by some specific server only.
@Barbosik could you add (/random) like in OgarUL, im tired naming the bots skins
I understand correctly, that /random should select random skin?
@Barbosik yes
okay, I will add it.
I made 3 modes for those, one for randoms skins of all the skins, one for veteran skins, and one for all skins without the ones that look just plain bad.
@Barbosik
how can i use the new 'care bear TM' skins, the skins names doesn't fit in nickname field.
I dont have chat, im using agario client and name command doesn't change the skins.
It works with bots names in (botname.txt)
For example: (tender_heart_bear)
Unfortunately vanilla client doesn't provides other way to send skin name to the server
@Barbosik could you make that name command change the skins?
@Barbosik How to use skins in play.ogarul.tk..?
@ItzLevvie thanks a lot :))))))))
I thought of a smarter way. All care bears work on my server :)
Wait, <> counts for name length?
Why don't we update the server to remove it from name count? It isn't hard to do, OgarServ has it. ;-;
Unless we can control the max input amount of characters in the name box, not counting <> would be pointless. Doesn't OgarServ have their own client? They can control the name box there. The name box is client-side and not server-side.
@NatsuTheGreat why the skins were not showing up in play.ogarul.tk ..???
@NatsuTheGreat This is pretty much what I mean. I use OgarServ on my custom client, and when you type in
According to @ItzLevvie if you would have
What about something like a skin shortener of some sort, like have the skin name "thbear" actually be the "tender_heart_bear" skin, so you could have any skin of any length you want?
@fayizan I do not know. Make sure they are lowercase, and correctly spelled. If it still doesn't work, talk to LegitSoujla.
@MastaCoder Okay, I am still pretty sure the skin names are too long.
MultiOgar does take into account the
MastaCoder: MultiOgar doesn't count skin name entered in the name text box. But vanilla client limits name text box to 15 letters and you cannot change it with server settings. It's a client limitation.
Unfortunately there is no way to select long name with long skin name in vanilla client.
In vanilla client you can use inspect element on nickname input box. Change maxlength attribute:
<input id="nick" class="form-control" placeholder="Nick" maxlength="15" autofocus="">
@Barbosik Guess I misunderstood @ItzLevvie, I thought it was for the server, not the client. :+1:
Influxx: yes, but this is too complicated way for usual users :)
Its not added the random skin add it plz
Are you not update to date that skins don't work right now?
