Kali Linux and PopOS both do not detect displays -- EVDI not found

The installation clearly failed. Please try reinstalling and if the issue persists, post the output of the installation procedure.

Displaylink not working anymore (maybe after packages upgrade)

Please post the output of `sudo ./displaylink-debian.sh --debug`

sed: can't read /lib/systemd/system/displaylink-driver.service: No such file or directory

afaik this happens when you don't reboot between uninstalling and installing.

Notebook won't boot anymore after executing ./displaylink-debian.sh

It's a known displaylink bug, but unrelated to this project. You'll have to take it up with them.
