"Modding Gauntlet Without C#" does nothing?

I got a headache at this point. I followed this article several times, but nothing ever changes in ingame Quests UI. My folder structure is correct _(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\ _ExampleUIMod\GUI\Prefabs\QuestsScreen.xml) and the XML file itself is configured according to the guide and mod is ticked in the launcher (it's loading first in the queue).

Does anyone have/had the same issue? My Bannerlord version is v1.1.6
