Cannot save, send, or post photos

whenever i try to send an image in dms, tweet an image or save an image, it says to go to settings an enable photos access. but when i go into settings, it only allows me to enable saving photos, not accessing photo library, and even then saving photos doesn’t work. i’m on the latest version of X compiled using github actions , installed with trollstore(tipa file i believe).
