[Feature Request] Parse YouTube Emoji
Currently custom emojis are not parsed, like I have said before in https://github.com/BanchouBoo/mpv-youtube-chat/issues/7 point number 3. Ideally the image of the emoji should be displayed, but converting these emojis to Unicode standard emoji might be also be an option.
I have scrapped official YouTube emojis to this CSV gist here. However this is not an exhaustive list as there are also channel-specific emojis, I'm not sure if there is any API available for this.
I have toyed around with this a bit in the past. Libass doesn't support colored emoji (https://github.com/libass/libass/issues/381). Theoretically I could render images, but as far as I'm aware there's no way to do that inline with the text. I'd love to get this working, but I don't see how I would.
Just use TwitterColorEmoji.ttf font 14MB...if you convert it to otf then back to ttf you can strip out svgs and it goes down to 6MB. It'll display most emojis as black and white and never in color due to libass.
