Does it work only 5.8 and former versions?
What device are you on? I can confirm that my Pixel 4 XL still works with this mod on the latest Google Photos, while my Pixel 7 requires the 5.71 APK.
I'm using Pixel7 so I can use unlimited upload by 5.7.1 or former as you said when I posted this issue. But now I can use unlimited upload by latest APK. I don't know this is why, but it works completely. I can use both unlimited upload and magic eraser.

Pixels does not offer any different uploading conditions than any other device. Still takes storage. Latest version of this app works just fine for spoofing xl to get unl though.

Hey, works fine for my 7 pro running on stock, latest gphotos and whatever. Make sure you're spoofing xl, pixel 2016 and that you override rom feature levels (might not be needed).

You are correct. I had to look at the uploaded item details to see that it is not using storage for me since I am a google 1 sub.
Yep, thanks @MakiseKurisu-san and @hooper303, it works for me too on the latest, as shown by the image info thing where it says "This item doesn't take up space in your account". The actual app's setting spage where it usually says "This Pixel has unlimited original quality storage" is gone however and replaced with an ad for Google One, but that's minor.
Just wondering has anyone got this working on Android 14 right now?
Yes. I've used this module on every revision of A14. Currently on A14 qpr1 beta 2. Works well.

Cleared storage and did that, still thinks I have a Pixel 5
Honestly I just gave up. I just decided to use another magisk module that activates it and that has been working for me.
