Does it work for C++ in Xcode 9.2?

Dear clang format users,

I cloned and compiled your clang format repo, but I am not familiar with Swift.

What should I do with the built products? Does this extension work with C++ projects in Xcode?

I managed to run the app, it now shows up in extension list of OSX. I activated it and the menu entry shows up in Xcode. But when selecting text and clicking on 'Editor > ClangFormat > Format', nothing happens.
