5e Epic Characters - Book request
if i could supply you with the pdf (purchased of course), would you add the Epic Characters book from the DMs guild?
Hi mate, I would need to see the content required to be able to make a solid commitment, there are some rules that cannot be added within reason to PCGen in the current version.
The answer is yes of course, I include most requests if the source material is available. Normally those requests come direct email. The time factor would be dictated by both my availability, the complexity of the source material, and your availability to give the code a test run and feedback.
I am enjoying some summer leisure time. As long as you are not imposing some crazy time constraint or deadline, then there should be no issues. If you want to play with something specific then let me know up front, I can make that a priority to keep you from waiting for the rest of the book to be completed. If you want to assist and possibly learn to code, then that can also speed up the process. Just to give you a reasonable expectation, most decent-sized books take a solid three months to get working fully. Bigger sources, or complicated rules can increase that time frame. Smaller books, or simple rules decrease that time frame.
These are set high to handle worst case estimates: 5e Archetypes - 60 to 180 minutes per archetype (Replicate existing, manage class features, testing) New classes - 60 to 240 minutes (Spellcasting adds additional time) Feats - 15 to 60 minutes Races - 100 minutes Basic item - 10 minutes per (Name, cost, category, weight, descriptor) Weapons/Armor/Shields - 25 minutes per Augmented/Special items - 40 minutes per Backgrounds - 90 to 120 minutes per Spells - 30 minutes per
You can email me direct if you have any questions. Valid email is found on my profile.
