Animation / Timeline floating window/dock-able window integrated in the editor

Open MegsTan opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

Hi @julien-moreau

Hope you are having a great day! This is more of a feature request. I noticed that it would be great if the editor has an integrated animation/timeline editor so that we can animate the nodes/objects in the scene on the fly and save that in the editor's asset window. Thanks the editor is really wonderful. keep it up

I 100% agree with you again :) This is in my plans for next releases so I'm tagging this issue as feature request and will let you know once I start working on this :)

Just noticed that this branch is a thing. Looking forward to using the cinematic mode :)

Hi @HeadClot ! The development of that tool started recently and will require a lot of tests/polish phases. I hope to have it working as soon as possible but will depend on the feebacks/bug reports we'll have on the version 4.1.0 (full rework of assets management) and the integration of Babylon.JS 5 at the same time. Don't hesitate to watch the branch to get updated :)

For now, it looks like the base is working but user experience still needs to be improved ahah
