Particle Rendering Artifact with Rain
Here's a test rain particle:
Here's a screenshot of rendering with it. Obviously, there is a strong band at the top and a smaller one at the bottom that doesn't exist in the data.
I don't have time to test tonight, but have you tried with a texture using power of 2 dimensions?
I have now; a 16*256 resize of this texture does seem to work correctly.
