Write tests
https://guide.meteor.com/testing.html
One of the major things required to get code quality of OGV up is by writing tests for it. As recommended in meteor's official guide we would like to use mocha
and chai
.
Greetings I wish to know is this is still valid for this year's GSoC. If yes, i would be very glad to contribute else, please could you direct me where to push. Thanks
Hey math-alpha! Glad to see your interest in OGV.
Yeah, there's a good amount of possibility of OGV being in GSoC 19. Go ahead. :zap:
Regarding this particular issue, I'd recommend starting with some bug before working on tests. Because this issue requires a good knowledge of the code and how it works.
Pick a small bug and get it reviewed. Look for label bugs
in the issue list.
And if you haven't already, join the BRL-CAD Developer Mailing List [email protected], and post any issue or roadblock you face while working with OGV in that mailing list.
Thanks for the reponse.
Sorry for the late reply my spam filter erroneously sent your mail to spam. I will do as you suggested.
Regards

Hi @Gauravjeetsingh , I'd like to know if I can contribute here? I assume this project was not undertaken in the previous GSoC so I can still work on the issues presented here .
What's the likelihood of OGV project being repeated at 2020 GSoC if BRL-CAD is selected as an organization?
