when i try set a bind it says active input:blocked so i cant do nothing

Q: Active input says blocked? A: This means the SteamVR dashboard is visible. It blocks input from reaching other VR applications, this one included. It does this regardless of which view you are on: desktop, settings, library, store, anything at all. The SteamVR dashboard needs to be completely hidden/dismissed, like when you are playing a VR game. To do this aim outside it and click the trigger and it should be dismissed, or click the button that summonned the dashboard again to dismiss it, this can vary between systems.
