OpenVR2Key not getting app ID

Current behavior

When I launch Phasmophobia the app ID shows default. But when I run other games (Gorilla Tag) it works perfectly fine. Please help I tried for 4 hours and have found nothing.

I expect me to be able to launch the game and the OpenVR2Key app and it to work perfectly fine when I press the button.

Was Phasmophobia launched from or through Steam?

Then I don't know, does Phasmo run with OpenXR? I am not sure, but maybe that is a problem, don't think it should be but that is mostly from me not having experienced it.

From what I read online it says it runs on steamvr but you can force it to run in OpenXR.
