Boinc client stops responding to boinc manager while copying files.

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Boinc manager stops updating task information and shows popup "Boinc manager is communicating with Boinc Client, please wait." when i try to suspend some project. during virtualbox image copying from project directory to slot directory. Steps To Reproduce 1. 2.

  • OS: windows 11 pro Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22000.376]
  • BOINC Version: 7.16.20

Additional context. I have compressed vm images in project folder with compact /c /s /a /i /exe:lzx

Regarding VirtualBox's vm_image.vdi files this might solve the issue: #4602

Copying other large files would still block the client.

Looks like it happens while boinc is computing checksum.
