Task adding empty <PropertyGroup/> tag

Hello,

I'm currently using the Assembly-Info-NetCore@3 task and have noticed that after updating the assembly information an empty <PropertyGroup/> tag is being added to my project files.

Here is an example of my yaml using the task.

and here is an example of a diff with extra property groups inserted.

I'm also fairly certain that these <DocumentationFile> and <NoWarn> tags are being appended with a "&#xD" but I haven't confirmed that yet.

Is this some setting I'm using incorrectly?
