amperfy Carplay not loading album art

So I'm connecting to my home navidrome via router hosted vpn, but carplay's album art is always blank. If I play on the iphone - the album art loads correctly. Don't have this behaviour with play:sub, but I find your app more pleasant and robust (especially when LTE isn't stable). All my home collection is apple lossless.

Same for me, but only for some tracks, not all. When I select Download once per session (change detection), the artwork is missing for some tracks on my iPhone. Switching back to Download only once makes the artwork appear.

UPDATE: Reinstalling the app seems to have fixed the problem

Fixed with fbea767cf50749492e0f47c1c08e4f2a7bdfc0a1. Artwork download triggered and displayed on completion.

Sorry, I missed the notifications but I cannot say that the issue is resolved.

In my case artwork loads if amperfy is opened on the iphone. If I initiate playback on the car - it doesn't (if not cached). If I bring up amperfy on the phone - it starts loading with the next track and so forth.

My feeling is that it's a backgrounding issue. Because it stops loading artwork after some time in the background (not 100% sure that's the connection, might've been a restart of the app).

Do you have any hardware to inspect?

Iphone 11 pro max, ios 16.5.1 Testflight version

My settings are "prefer id3 tag" and "once per session".
