Possible to pull text from a file and display it on the tft screen?

i tried lots of different iterations, but cant seem, to find a way to display text on the screen which was taken from a txt file. Is is possible? if so can you give me an example? Thanks

also, is it possible to take the numbers typed using the calculator example, and save those numbers to a file instead of calculating them? thanks
