ask for the replacement of BFO_0000178

Dear BFO,

It seems BFO_0000178 is no longer existing now.

Could you recommend a replacement for it? We used it for the relationship of a protein complex to protein.

This term is not used any more probably due to some restriction it may result in. By name, it is appears to be a subproperty of the term ‘has part’

I would indeed suggest to use the term ‘has part’ to replace the BFO_0000178.

@leonqli The official release of BFO 2.0 is classes-only version and does not contain any relations. But you can use previous version of BFO, which is: http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/bfo/2014-05-03/bfo.owl
