Can BFO include 'precedes' and 'preceded by' relations?

Relations 'precedes' and 'preceded by' have be widely used in OBO Foundry community and are generic relations to represent the order of processes. It would be nice to be included in BFO version 2.
Current Relation Ontology (dev) uses these relations with BFO IDs assigned in BFO pre-Graz version. preceded by: http://www.ontobee.org/browser/rdf.php?o=RO&iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/BFO_0000060 precedes: http://www.ontobee.org/browser/rdf.php?o=RO&iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/BFO_0000063 Keep these BFO IDs in BFO version 2 would be easier for existing users.

Generally happy with this but we should keep in mind scope. Originally the idea was to only have those relations required for defining BFO / mentioned in the reference. Happy to revisit in the name of practicality though. Given the IDs are in use and hopefully uncontroversial makes sense to have them in the BFO2 release.
What about immediately_preceded_by (RO_0002087)?

Decision: Keep preceded_by and inverse in BFO2, leave immediately_preceded_by in RO
