Additional information
This is seemingly the same issue as reported here and here however there was seemingly no resolution to either, however I have some extra details that might be helpful. My issue as a separate sent of coordinates to the second issue linked, but is otherwise the same arbitrary red line in space.
First, I am not using any user created packages and have non installed in BEEmod right now. Additionally, this is happening to all my maps, and to narrow down the issue I made a simple test map that contains only regular portal 2 puzzlemaker items (specifically a laser, relay, catcher, reflection cube, and it's dropper).
Some things that do and do not work regarding this test map:
- Uninstalling BEEmod entirely from the game (through the intended method of loading the BEEmod app and selecting File->Uninstall from selected game) and then launching Portal 2 again and running the map will cause it to load mostly normally, although I end up playing as Chell instead of Bendy for whatever reason. I did not verify files either, just uninstalled BEEmod and was fine right after.
- Adding/removing BEEmod elements has no effect on the leaking.
- Changing the palette has no effect on the leaking. I had BEEmod export the "Portal 2" palette, launched the game, and received the same issue.
- Creating a new test chamber has no effect on the leaking, including if I don't add/modify a single thing from the basic pre-built chamber.
- The issue occurs right when the map is about done fully loading, as in it will go through the puzzle maker map loading screen, then the normal portal 2 map loading screen, and usually once everything but the last 3 dots are colored blue is when it crashes.

im having the same problem on my steam deck
I did a bit more troubleshooting and have discovered a few things:
1: running the bee mod executable with just clean_style, core, and signage (needed due to me having edited the sign timer config, thats seemingly needed or an error will be thrown) packages, and exporting the blank palette will still cause this issue on my blank no elements testing map 2: hammer refuses to compile and run the blank map, even after uninstalling beemod the proper way, switching from native linux portal 2 to forced windows portal 2, reverifying integrity of the files, and reapplying the linux puzzlemaker fix. Probably a hammer doesnt run on linux rel issue however due to loading the same map in portal 2 (as long as beemod is completely uninstalled) works fine on both native linux portal 2 and forced windows portal 2 3: attempting to publish with beemod installed causes the fail message to appear after the geometry is built, instead of right before the map is about done loading
if i was to guess atp it seems as if running this mod made presumably for windows on linux is whats causing the map leaks. may dig deeper if i find i have nothing better to do sometime l8r
